Addicted to Your Smartphone?

I've started to notice more and more the number of times you walk down the street and all you see are people, head down, Smartphone in hand. Lost in their surroundings. they look up very fast to be  sure they aren't going to crash into someone and then off they go again, head down, surfing, texting, posting as they walk, jog, run, cycle and most annoyingly drive.
On the bus for example reading newspapers, is becoming a thing of the past.

Should we use our smartphone when meeting up with friends?

I remember when i was at a party last week with some friends. In the middle of the conversation one of them took a photo of the group with their i-phone and posted it on Facebook. Then as they started to get comments on the photo they began to pay more attention to their phone than the rest of the group.

Also yo can notice this on children

they used to play on parks , but now you can notice in the image below, they prefer enjoy a virtual world , for thi s reason i think that kids must not have a smartphone because it interrupt their normal growth and development.

Actually talking on the phone is so old school. People text everywhere—at school, in the mall, on the bus, at home, and in bed when they’re supposed to be sleeping. people love texting because they can be instantly in touch with friends, no matter where they are .

In my opinion it's ok to be close to our friends when we are alone but we should be close to the people that are around us and we might put away our smartphons at this moment.

even in the streets you should not texting to the phone, you can't notice what's happening because  you are in your  parallel world , not paying attention to the hazards in the streets, you must pay attention to cars on the tracks, also the thieves can steal your device taking advantage of your distraction
.

My conclusion is that there is time for everything, hanging out with friends, work, study, etc. And during our free time why not enjoy in the benefits to own a smartphone.

What is Smarthone? what can i do with it?

Smartphones are without doubt, one of the best pieces of technology that have been developed over the last years. It's really awesome that a piece of equipment, relatively small in size, can be so powerful.
It not only acts as a telephone that in fact is the main function (but by the end of this essay you’ll have seen that this function actually is complementary) it also works as a mobile internet, a games console and with the addition of  a lot numbers of apps a gateway to just about anything.

Why people like to use it?
Smart phones are like small computers, the main difference is that smart phones are smaller than computers and they are always at your fingertips.

For example, many people have stopped using things like clocks, computers, watches, cameras, diaries, calendars etc.

To give a better idea, if you are a business person and you have to check emails all day, you first have to carry on your laptop, then connect a network in order to download the mails. Now everything is on the small screen of your smart phone you only have to synchronize your accounts with the device.

Apps!!! another main reason why smart phones are so popular

Apps is an abbreviation for application. An app is a piece of software. It can run on the Internet, on your computer, or on your phone or other electronic device.

supposed you’re new to jogging or you are a seasoned marathoner, there are tons of great apps will help you to be the best runner you can possibly be, to name one of the many applications you can download the app call “Cardio Trainer”

it provides a map of your route and can be viewed while you are still out on the streets.

Now talking more about my own experiences.
I’ve been using smart phones since 2009, I used to have a mid-range Smartphone (this means that his memory was very low, the battery life and also some other limitations that a generation Smartphone should not have.) but I going to change it soon.
Well the way that I used it were very basic but very productive.

the first obviously  thing that a person will do is set up her/his email accounts, Facebook twitter and some other social network. Beyond these functions there are others that helped me to organize my disorganized life.

Agenda:  a very complex agenda, which could place the day, where, with whom, phone, or a map how to get to my appointment. The Smartphone send an alarm to remind me this event.

The alarm clock:  It was another little function that helped me to not be late for work :p

when I was using more me device I discovered that there are more powerful functions to used.

* Google maps and GPS!
one of the best attractions that I founded in my Smartphone was the GPS especially for a person like me who lost easily in the streets.
I only have to active my gps to scan my position then put the place that I’m going to go and after seconds I have a  map with the route (This is really useful, isn’t it?

*Other thing to consider is the facebook groups or the events
A party, a baptism, or any other ceremony, never has been so easy to organize.

Carry on each English class a large dictionary could be annoying?

Often I preferred asked the teacher every word that I did not know, but with the dictionary I have installed on my Smartphone that is in the past.
Well there are too many reason why people use smart phones for each necessity you have an application waiting for you.
